So last night, I decided to obtain a recipe I have seen but never really tested, Recipe: Mighty Quickening Brew. It can be bought from the Quartermaster Timminsen in Scarlet Gorge, coordinates 3960,3025. To purchase the recipe requires decorated notoriety with Quarry Rats. If you don’t have the required notoriety, simply run the dungeon Foul Cascade on Normal twice. The recipe requires 3 Bloodshade Petals, 2 Potent Extracts, and an Empty Runed Bottle to make a single Mighty Quickening Brew. This potion grants a burst of speed that increases movement speed by 50% for the next 10 seconds.
One of the reasons I never really tested it is because I assumed it would share the same timers with my healing potions. To my amazement, this potion does not share the same timer as any other potions I use. As a matter of fact, it didn’t even have a cooldown from reusing it again!
I know this potion isn’t as good as some class specific abilities, but for those that don’t have anything remotely close, like my Warlock mage, this potion will be a life saver.
Expect Bloodshade Petals to go up in price. You know I will be buying them up!
Now the main question is, can this be used in battle? If you can, then it’s better then the racial abilities.
Yes, you can use it in battle. The one bad part is it does not break immunity nor does it make you immune. But, I think I found a way around that which I will be posting in the near future.
