SWTOR Dissb 1st Narrative PVP Video, Huttball Warzone, Sith Inquisitor Level 18 Sorceror

Released my 1st Narrative PVP Video, Huttball Warzone on my Sith Inquisitor Level 18 Sorceror.

PLEASE NOTE:  I have switched my YouTube username to DissbTV.

This video talks about my first impressions of PVP on my Sith Inquisitor, Sorceror.  Unlike most MMO’s, all people are thrown into one battlegroup for warzones with bolster buffs which means good players can still be very effective.

Topics include:

  • Importance of Force
  • Talent Tree Trainings
  • Downside of Long Casting Abilities
  • Spell Rotation
  • Comparisons to Rift

Leveling my Sith Inquistor, Sorceror

As you may have noticed, I will occassionaly be streaming live on www.livestream.com/dissb for Star Wars, The Old Republic.  It was ridiculously easy to set it up and once I get a good feel of my sorceror you can expect to see full coverage of my gameplay.

The past few days have been absolutely brutal for me.  Leveling my sorceror to 10 was painful considering how much I despise PVE.  Once I hit 10, I have been doing warzones pretty much non-stop except for the progression of my class quests.  I am currently level 17, and am finally starting to get used to my spell rotations.  Once again, utilizing techniques such as pre-kiting and positioning has helped propel me to the top of the charts in damage and KB’s.

I have also began leveling biochem, bioanalysis and diplomacy as my crafting skills.  You know me, it’s always about the potions.

I have family in town until the New Year, so I am alot further behind than most people.  Hopefully, by the end of the year I will have more content to provide you.

Goodbye Rift, Hello Star Wars, The Old Republic

I am officially ending my coverage on Rift and will move on to Star Wars, The Old Republic.  I am looking forward to sharing my experiences while leveling my Sith Inquistor, Sorceror.

This will be the first game I cover from start to end and hope to provide innovative ideas and tips, which include but are not limited to:

     •  PVP – Leveling, Strategies and Tricks
     •  Crafting
     •  How to Make Money via the Auction House.

Dissb’s Rift 1.6 Pyrolock Featured on TGN

Big Dave of TGN features my 38 Warlock / 25 Pyromancer / 3 Archmage build in his weekly “Warfronts Show”.

I was completely unaware of his selection to showcase this particular build.  Needless to say, it was very entertaining to watch.

Thanks again for the recognition!

My Reponse in the Forums Regarding Spark

For those of you that may have missed it, I started a thread regarding Spark in the Classes of Telara Forums.

http://forums.riftgame.com/rift-general-discussions/classes-telara/284661-new-most-over-powered-thing-rift-1-6-a.html

My Response:

The premise of this thread was to point out an ability that could potentially tip the scale of balance.  Spark in conjuntion with a build based around instant abilities that in effect increases charge may not have been conceived by developers.

Simply possessing the ability Spark will not transform an average player to an elite player.  However, building up charge which may or may not have been intended does perceivably give a player an advantage.

I have always been an advocate for fair gameplay across all classes and ranks.  I believe I have an innate ability to identify things or abilities that could be deemed over powered.

2 months before the nerf to Blood Thirsty, I wrote this article:

2 months before the stealth nerf to Mighty Quickening Brews, I wrote this article:

I also was an advocate well before the actual nerf of Devouring Shadows not because people were abusing it with 51 Warlock, but because it had no cooldown or travel time and could be used as an instant finisher.

I have been granted some free time by Trion, and am going to give back through feedback what I feel are important issues.

As for you Bleedz, up until now I have been a huge fan of yours and had a ton of respect for you, always exciting to see you in warfronts because it would mean a good fight.  It is unfortunate you feel a need to slander my name publicly.  What have I ever done to you?  Is it really a popularity contest for you?
