Yesterday, I went my Trion account page to make sure my account was cancelled and I noticed I had 30 days left.  I immediately emailed them telling them I cancelled my account and got an email verification saying my subscription ends on December 3rd, 2011.

Their response:

I have looked over your account, you have not been billed for the 30 days of
game time. We applied the time to your account for you to experience RIFT again!
Your account will be active for the next 30 days, we hope you have time to visit
Telara!

I wasn’t sure what I did to deserve this, and more importantly I didnt know if Trion didn’t want me to tell people.  That is until dbretton told me he got a free 30 days and asked if I did.  So apparently I am not that special which is awesome because I have been playing my new build and am absolutely having a blast!

I am actually considering writing a 38 Warlock / 25 Pyromancer / 3 Archmage guide.  For those of you that have tried the build, please let me know your findings, thoughts, or general comments.

It is with a heavy heart I regret to inform you I am not renewing my subscription in Rift, which ends in 5 days.  It is always tough to let go of a character in any MMORPG, but we all must say our goodbyes eventually.

I think I just got completely burnt out grinding the reputation for Library of the Runemasters.

Thank you to everyone who supported me in Rift.  It has been an absolute pleasure communicating with everyone and I hope we cross paths again.

Over the weekend I was able to play a little Star Wars BETA  and found myself completely enjoying it.  I think it will be fun starting a new game with such a huge following and begin my blogging experiences from the very beginning.

Dissb and Taugrim

Sorry I haven’t posted in a few days, had to attend a wedding in San Francisco, CA.

I also wanted to find time to meet a friend who has been instrumental in the success of my blog, Taugrim.

Saturday afternoon, the skies cleared up and it was a gorgeous day in downtown San Francisco.  Taugrim was nice enough to take me and a couple friends to the Ferry Building / Farmers Market.  We had some amazing food which included pork sandwich, Japanese Karaage chicken and oysters.  Thanks again for your hospitality!

With Irony’s numbers dwindling as each day passes, to keep what’s left of us motivated we decided to take advantage of the free server transfers.  After spending our whole lives on Sunrest PVP server, our guild has decided to transfer to Dayblind Oceanic server effective November 9, 2011.

I feel it is a good time for me to size out the other competition after eclipsing 200,000 kills the other day.  My gut feeling tells me the competition will not be any better than Sunrest RP-PVP.  Normally, RP servers tend to have more mature and seasoned players, but we shall see.
